A much better Will Ferrell outing helped by a better cast and a great cameo (a little more than a cameo really) by Samuel L. Jackson and The Rock which leaves you thinking that you could watch 2 hours of just them being over the top cops. Unlike The Step Brothers movie, this one looks like it had a budget and a script which helps proceedings somewhat. Throw in Steve Coogan and Michael Keaton and your laughing (literally). Probably the best comedy of the year with Scott Pilgrim being the best in the surreal, quirky comedy bracket.
